Shortlisted prototype for Australian Furniture Design Award is on its way to Melbourne for judging.

The concept for our entry into the Australian Furniture Design Awards was inspired by still life paintings. Design King in collaboration with Dr Christian Tietz were selected as a finalist for the second stage of the competition. The second stage required the production of a full scale prototype which is now on its way to Melbourne for judging. Ultimately, both the table and the objects will be created from beautiful coloured glass reflecting our concept of seeing through the table and perceiving what is below the table surface.
