After many years of hoping for such a thing, the Alberta Street building is now home to a wonderful new cafe Cafe Cre Asion run by Yu Sakaki who specializes in incredible macarons. Its a great front door to the office and a great potential break out space to meet, think and talk. With the Berta Bar virtually through the wall of my office I feel we in a very distinct and happening part of town. One that has taken some time but that’s the nature of pioneering these sorts of locations.
Yu brings with him specialized macarons and specially imported teas form Japan. The fit-out, the fixtures fittings and the utensils have that distinct Japanese flair for the particular the detailed and the fine use of small spaces. A great accompaniment to our architectural pursuits.
